Fifty Recipes for Disaster – Book 1 Reviews

I thought that this was a very compelling story. I really loved the Chef competition and the fact that our heroine is a good girl. Sexy but with a great story line. I kept wanting to read more. Why do I get the feeling that there is more trouble ahead? As they say, “It’s Complicated”.

I really enjoy watching reality cooking shows on TV and so this cooking-themed romance story caught my interest.I’m so glad I picked it up. The action of the story revolves around three culinary students competing for an apprenticeship at the popular restaurant, Fission, in Austin. The dirty tricks played by two of the competitors, Jenny and Robbs, against Kiara the heroine, kept the story moving along at a nice pace. Not to mention the sexual tension building between Kiara and the sexy, executive chef, Paul Weston. The story caught my attention right from the beginning and kept me turning the pages right to the end. Looking forward to reading Book 2!

I love a good romance almost as much as I love watching cooking shows. This book delivered on all accounts for me. I felt like I was in the kitchen watching a cookoff. I really liked how the story developed as I got to know the three chefs in the cooking competition. I enjoyed seeing women perform so well in the kitchen and really liked it when they could beat the resident jerk Robbs. I am rooting for Kiara and Chef Paul. They have a love story that really sizzles! I highly recommend this fun and flirty series and can’t wait to ready more Recipes for Disaster.
